Pat_B, thank you so much for the comment. I love hearing about everyone's life. This past summer when I broke my tooth and my other tooth needed a cap I had to eat soft food for weeks. That was really hard but I did find some things that I really liked during that time. We did have a very nice day and I will say that everyone at the ice cream stand had a mask on. I think people are really trying to do what is right. I hope your

C_C_T, thank you so much for the comment. It really was a nice break and I did enjoy going to the ice cream stand. The butter pecan ice cream cone was such a treat. I never eat ice cream at home but if we go out I will have some. It's a guilty pleasure. I hope you have a wonderful day!

I used to love celery with cream cheese - or peanut butter. But since
my own teeth have been replaced by dentures, celery's one of those tough to chew things that are no longer on my shopping list. I do buy the chopped celery/onion mix to add to my small batch potato salads. Your description of your day was so relaxed and lovely. Stay safe.

Kabu, thank you so much for the comment. My family loves celery and cream cheese but now I'm thinking I should have bought more celery. This was the first time I'd seen decent looking celery in our store in months. That's why I decided to buy it and evidently my family has been missing it. This pandemic has played havoc with the produce at the grocery store.
