Sassy, I really did think about taking it back but going back to the store was not something I wanted to do. I figured at least the animals would not go hungry today. Roy didn't act like he wanted to go back either so we just tried to make the best of it.

I have noticed that too. Produce is not cheap by any means.
Eating healthy is expensive! Good luck on finding the cheap goods. We are headed off on a Sunday drive in the rain to the middle child and then to get groceries.

Pat_B, I did think about taking them back but at least the animals got a tasty treat. I'm thinking maybe Sunday is not a good day to buy vegetables. Thank you so much for the comment.

I hope you feel better after the Doctor's visit. The doctor cut my B.P tablet down to half the quantity I shall have to keep a check on that.
