The ghosts of Gettysburg could probably make for an interesting movie.

How awful that war was. One can imagine the battle field and the pitiful cries of the wounded. No wonder strange forces persist.

Re: Re: Goldiec, we stayed at the hotel several years ago with the girls.

Sassy, you and your family are some of the bravest people I know.  I'm trying to think of which girl I would say is the very bravest and I'm not sure but I would venture to say the little one.  She's a spitfire like you.

Re: Goldiec, we stayed at the hotel several years ago with the girls.

We didn't see any ghosts, but the history was amazing, and we had a wonderful time. We walked around the circle where they have the largest street sale with hundreds of antiques at every table. We also visited the battlefield. It is there where we felt gloom. It was eerily quiet despite the fact that there were hundreds of people walking around.

Lost souls

Sassy, another great post!  It is so sad for me to think of all the lives lost during this time period.  It is heart-wrenching to think of the souls that didn't move on to the light but remained behind in this Haunted Hotel. I wonder if they will ever move forward.
