And as soon as they win, or lose, they start driving for funds for the next go-round.

It feels like the feeding frenzy never ends. People are politically intense year round.

Well Taps in the part of the country where I live politics is scarcely mentioned outside of ones house. Someone occasionally puts a suggestion in the window. When we had Brexit there were many demos , but the virus has knocked that out.

I agree. This goes on and then someone wins and most people accept it and we move on. Our country is paramount. I hope for the best for everyone.

Australia and Canada are great to live in. We have about 6 weeks of electioneering crazy promises that nobody whose been around for a while really believes. Then it is all over and with a sigh of relief we go back to being normal. The USA seems to always be electioneering all the time.

I will be so glad when the election is over and life becomes somewhat normal again. There is so much negativity surrounding this election. I have made up my mind that whoever wins I will respect them and back them as the President of the United States. The system we have may not be perfect but I choose to honor it. I will vote and I do have a favorite candidate but my vote only counts for 1 and the majority will win. I'm willing to accept that for what it is.

I second Pat_B's thoughts.
My only prayer is that no more jobs are lost and healthcare doesn't become an issue. We all need both, no matter who your party is.

Well said, Taps. I don't remember 2012 being this frustrating.
