Re: How fun. I love sharing a meal with my daughters.
Sassy, I really did have a good time this morning. I told Michelle we need to do this more often and her reply was "Mom, I have to work" but I'm sure we will do it again.

Re: Sounds like your Monday's going great. Made me smile.
Pat_B, thank you so much for the comment. I thought I had the day planned out and nothing went as planned. First, there was breakfast with my daughter and then I came home. I called Sassy to see how she was doing and then my son came over with my grandson. I visited with them for a while and before I knew what time it was I had to make dinner for everyone. Because of the events of the day,
I'm still drying clothes and I have to fold them. That's okay though because it really was a nice day.

Re:
Corbin, thank you so much for the comment. Some Mondays everything goes as planned and then there are days like today when I'm totally off my schedule and didn't get a lot done. That's okay though because tomorrow is another day.

Re:
C_C_T, You know I love your writing. One of my favorite parts was "where the north wind blows" it's going to be cold in Canada for the fairies. At least they can snuggle in the down tickles. See the way my mind thinks I want to know if they will be warm when they get to their destination? I know they were dressed like Eskimos and they were wrapped in fluff but I'm not sure being in a flower bed will keep them toasty warm. My fairies have their warm beds inside with lots of covers and warm jammies. You know I worry about them.

Re:
C_C_T, grits are very good. I think it may be a southern dish. You can make them with butter or add cheese too. I like them both ways. If I made it for you I think you may like them

I really do not know what grits are , I usually have cereals with mlk. A man I used to know told me he had bread and margarine in a bowl of hot water. I could not think of anything as horrible.

An oldie I found that had been posted before yout time,I can't paste it on the normal site.
Exchange
Some fairies were dressed like Eskimos
going to where the north wind blows’
They were wrapped in fluff and down
I think the Queen still wore her crown’
‘You will be welcome the wizard said’
Just choose a kindly flower bed’
Enjoy your stay but just remember
Return at once by mid September
‘
Why is that?’ a teenfair asked
The wizard looked at her aghast’
she stood there showing naked knees
her little skirt raised in the breeze.
The wizard looked his voice was curt
he handed her his Sunday shirt’
‘l did not notice’ said the Queen’
Put that on You naughty teen.
‘Any for Canada?’ a snow goose called’
The fairies laughed and climbed aboard’
They snuggled deep into the down
Tickles,’ goose honked with a frown’
I hope they behave the wizard sighed
This exchange has not been tried
I don’t know what kind of little Pup
or Pups will come with Maple syrup’
