Yes, I whacked away but a bit more controlled. Take care of yourself and maybe learn something new to help you.

I am so with you on the cutting hair. When everything shut down, I had JUST gotten the money to have my hair cut. It doesn't take much but I wanted bills paid first. I cut my daughter's hair and it looked cute the first time. I wanted to trim her hair just a little and do the bottom shave again and then do the same to my hair. . . . She now looks like the little suitcase boy in "UltraViolet" and I ended up with a Beatles' bob that I had to go in a week later and have touched up. Some days it looks allright, other days it's a totally different story. And on the bible reading, I need to get back to my own. It's really calming when I do.

I used to regularly trim my hair, but I haven't this year at all.
I decided to let it grow out even though I usually keep it swept up in a ponytail or some other updo. I cook quite a bit, so leaving it hanging down doesn't work too well in the kitchen.

Re: C_C_T
Recently PD has volunteered to cut mine but he always has an evil grin on his face when he does and I'm afraid of what he will do. He does a good job on Phil, but Phil has a completely different texture of hair than mine. I have whispy, thin, blow away stuff.

Well Taps I used to cut my own hair . One day my brother said your hair looks awful.
So I bought a clipper and he does it for me and eyebrows. He goes to the Barber .

Re:
They say the CHIEFS/Patriot game will be played this evening. I don't understand what difference one day makes and why they are back playing.

Re: BC-A
Do you contain it by making it into a ponytail, or do you braid it like Willie Nelson does? Would love to see a photo of you. You are and interesting fellow.

I myself have never been tempted to cut my own hair, even when hair salons were closed were so long from March through June.

I’m one who hates haircuts but after enough years it looked BAD. So I don’t know if you read it or not but I posted links to YouTube videos to gelp show people how to cut their own hair. I can ut men’s hairbrcause someone taught me. I can cut bangs, again because I learned from a magazine. But a trim! Yep, I found a video and trimmed my hair. yours probably looks better than you think. Check out the YouTube videos. And sorry about the Chiefs game. My sis must have been bummed.

You would say the reverse, concerning me. I'm a traditional long hair.

This post is almost one I could have written - the restlessness, the sense
that your hair needs cutting even if you have to mess it up by doing it yourself, the need to read something interesting and instructive and comforting, total disappointment with what's on TV (and what's not) all made even more "fun" by the restrictions of Covid and realizing it could be worse. So we hunker down and find a way to keep on being marvelous, amazing and maybe even funny for one more day. Hang in there, because later today or tomorrow for sure, we Blogit neighors will be leaning over the back fence for your take on what's going on.

Taps, My hair is so long right now. I'm afraid to go and get it cut because of the COVID and if I don't get it cut soon it's going to be clear down to my waist. It's getting hard to brush in the morning after I wash it. A few years ago I decided I wanted to study the Bible from beginning to end. It was one of the best things I ever did. It was back when there was so much trouble in the Catholic Church and I just didn't understand it. I joined a Bible study group and I absolutely loved it. There are so many stories in the Bible and so many lessons to be learned. I think everyone should join a Bible study at least one time. I have my credentials for being a Reverend through the state of Ohio. When my friend's daughter got married I officiated at the wedding. I was honored to do it. I would join again but now with the Pandemic, it's just not feasible. I enjoy your posts so much! My grandson is here watching the Brown's game and he said they are winning. That's exciting for us. It's cold and raining here.
