What an impossible man to learn from. What a power trip he seems to have been on bullying youngsters like that. You are right, a horrible tacher and a horrible man.

I have to hope that there are a lot more teachers that are good than the bad ones. I know that colleges have good and bad instructors too. It really can be sad. Your teacher did not sound like a nice man. It makes you wonder what kind of person he was at home. I had a few bad teachers but I learned from the ones that were good. You could always tell who they were because they cared about all of their students.

Well most of our teachers were women or men who somehow evaded military service.
Mostly we were a bit wary of them as they could brandish a cane.

I have always felt that a teacher could make or break a student.
Bad teaching can stick with a kid for many years that leaves a mark. A good teacher can make a student excel to places that they had no clue that they could even travel to.
