Re: Re: Re: Re: Goldiec
Sea Gypsy, I've learned something today which I love. I really don't know anything about Gypsies. Can you share any of the rumors from your family?

No, we can’t steal, only borrow and run with it. ine singer/songwriter surprised me whennshe aid she write down bits of phrases here and there that she likes and then uses them later when composin. I like to do that also - in my dreans.

Re: Re: Re: Goldiec
They arecall iver. In Ireland, in the US. Wverywhwre from India to England to Appalachi yo California. We’d see them in trucks trying to sell patuo furniture made of wood. There was a huge crackdown years ago. I still like their music but I like most music. And there are rumors in my family about them...

Re: Re: Goldiec
I've heard about gypsies and Roy tells me they used to travel around. I wonder what their camps were like and where their homes were? This leads me to wonder what kind of recipes they had? There may have been some really good ones.

Re:Pat
I agree Pat especially when having to bury dead mice . Funny one never sees flies indoors like one used to. Every house in the villages had a fly paper hanging usually over table.

I expect it would run off before I could train it.

Sassy I would have loved to have reared them once but I only have half an acre. Thank for the compliment, I am not an intellectual like my brother, he is 15 years younger and benefited from a good education.

Re:
Well Kabu those nasty critters stick there heads under the skin one has to try to twist them out anti clockwise. I did try a kind of lasso and it worked but the poor little thing was so weak having had its blood sucked.

Re: Goldiec
My Dad would never admit it but once gypsies were in camps around here. He was friendly with one of the lads and had supper once.No guessing what it was.

Re: Taps
Yes Taps I did read where a lady trained one and her babies crawled over her when she sat on the lawn.

I myself would not want a hedgehog either. I'm a big fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog video games.

Hedgehogs are very cute. But I'd rather watch them on nature programs on T.V.

You are such a talented writer with an eye for so many different things that you could write about dirt or a potato sack and it would be magical.

would think of adopting one, but these are among those creatures I prefer to watch from afar. I'm not fond of cleaning litterboxes for kitties or dealing with housebreaking even the most adorable puppies. I enjoy the squirrels outside, the groundhog who has built burrows under my back deck, but there's not even room inside for a house fly.
