Re:
C_C_T, I will say that cooked peppers are so delicious. If you just put oil or butter in a frying pan and add onions and any kind of peppers along with seasoning you can fry them and eat them just like that or make rice or noodles and have that too. I could eat peppers every day and never get tired of them.

I found seasonings there on accident one day. Giant Eagle will be more expensive. We are headed out soon to Washington, PA to the Meadows. If you were closer you and Roy could join us.

Sassy, thanks! I didn't think about Ollies. I will try going there if Giant Eagle doesn't have my smoked paprika.

Have a good day, to my shame last year I grew peppers, but we did not really know how to cook them. So I am sticking to tomatoes. A greenhouse is handy.

Re: Re: Re: Re: You're welcome.
I also get my spices from Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I know that you have a few of them in your area. They sell big bottles of seasonings for $.79 cents.

Re: Re: Re: They have smoked paprika at Giant Eagle stores & Walmart.
Sassy, I did try Walmart this morning but they must be sold out. This morning a lot of shelves looked empty but there were a lot of new items being stocked on the shelves. A truck must have come in during the night hours. Tomorrow I'm going to Giant Eagle and I hope to find some there. Thanks!

Re: Saturday's usually my day to lay low and listen to entertainment
Pat_B, thank you so much for the comment. I hope you find everything a the store that you need. I could not find my smoked Paprika so I'm still searching for it. We left so early that we were home by 9:30.

Re: My favorite is hot Hungarian paprika.
Sherri, I love Hummus! I did get the chickpeas at Wal-mart. I didn't find any smoked paprika though. Now I have to go in search of it.

Have fun shopping.
I forgot to tell you that paprika is only $1.00 unless you buy it in the big can. I took all of our peppers and made poppers. It was my first time, but they were delicious. I wore gloves while I cut, deseeded, and deveined the peppers. They were not too spicy, and the bacon sends them over the moon. https://www.onionringsandthings.com/jalapeno-poppers/

My favorite is hot Hungarian paprika.
I am guessing that you are planning to make Hummus with the chickpeas since you also mentioned paprika. Yum! It is one of John's favorites.
