                I totally agree with you.  I try to make a balanced life but sometimes between the children and home and my writing and the list goes on and on it does get hectic and then I try to take a step back and regroup and that almost always helps me.                 absolutely true and the need to keep a family fed and clothed and put some away for a holiday so we could spend a quaility couple of weeks as a family. All those things become the only focus. I am old now and alone yet not lonely but most of those busy years are a blur.

                I have luckily established a great balance between family, work, and me. I always set time aside just for me to read, walk, reflect, cook, nature watch, or whatever I feel I want to do. My job is too much fun to quit. It allows for plenty of out of state travel, and luckily, I do not need to work due to hubby having a really good job. Time is a hard battle to fight against, but sticking to a schedule really does help.
