During winter pipes and parts of the house groan and clang. usually at night but I have got used to them. I was scared but not now.

Well I have been subject to roaring sounds in the water pipes, it did not scare me but it was worry.

House sounds don't scare me, but some make me wonder and there are a lot of night sounds around here as this place is at least sixty years old.

I live with the human sounds in Charles Dickens. Tonight, the furnace in the boiler room up yonder is experiencing my bloated stomach, from MY takeout dinner.
