Oh, no! Kinda like playpens, which weren't considered bad. Of course, my kids would have climbed out, as well as my grandkids and my sis also probably tried it. A nephew or two of mine would have just lifted the thing up.

Oh poor little one. I never did use a jail for my babies. More work for me to keep them safe but i just couldn't put them behind bars.
