There are big open spaces especially out west, but cities still are getting slammed by the virus.

Re: Re: Yes, that is true. I was able to research back to the 1600s...
But I only know a few 2nd cousins, and they were found through genealogy searches. I am thankful for ancestry.com. I have found quite a few family members that were right under my nose. We have since met and we now visit yearly when I go home to Delaware. I have no first cousins because my parents were both only children.

Re: I have never eaten duck.
We used to have pea hens from the supermarket but after a while one looked a bit ripe and it turned us off,

Re:Sassyass.
So many folk emigrated to USA I had an Aunt to whom I used to write. At one stage she told me she had over a hundred great great grandchildren. Another went to Canada and one to Australia. So you see there are many relations everywhere . Funny thing here we hardly know anyone beyond 2nd cousins .

I have never eaten duck.
I am just not a fan of dining on certain feathered friends.

Amazon is becoming the big gun over here....you literally can order your groceries online and ther are delivered in electric delivery trucks. Nex year ther want to use drones. You put a mat in your yard and the drone drops down sets your boxes on the mat.

Re: Re: Corbin
The nearest Asda to me is 5 miles. Locally we have at least 5 Supermarkets maybe not as large. We do try and get delivery if possible but it sometimes takes a bit of time waiting to get a slot. I did slip up, I should have booked one forward after my last orders. Have you got that pup house trained yet.

Re:
Kinda....
Well, Walmart owns a chain of stores in the UK called ASDA. ASDA is Britain's second largest supermarket, and while it started as its own brand back in 1965, the International Walmart Corporation acquired it in 1999. So it's the closest thing you're going to get to Walmart without actually visiting one!

It's good to read about a food shop that's so busy. So many
small restaurants have gone out of business here. Nice work on your naughty poem.

I have my main meal when I'm off from my job. Today I had a hot dog, a cup of pea soup, leftover croutons, and a bagel with margarine.

I mask up and do my shopping either early in the morning or late in the afternoon, even in the evening when there are not so many other shoppers. We also have a low incidence rate here at the moment, so I don't feel as much anxiety about it as a couple of months ago. I don't want anyone else to choose my fresh foods!
