I've had some really good teachers and I've had some really bad ones. Every now and then one would come along that just didn't like me for whatever reason. I've never forgotten those teachers. I could only hope that most teachers are compassionate because children need to be understood. I never cared if the teacher liked me or not but there are students that are very sensitive.

My Catholic school was great and we had great teachers but that was a long time ago and it was a grade school. We all tested out above 9th grade in the 6th grade. The kids behaved because they knew it was a privilege to be there and they could be kicked out in a New York minute. But for your high school, it must have been much more difficult. Not all of the teachers seemed like they had the ability to care about or to reach the students, to grasp their educational needs. Good for you making it though...

Those "teachers" read as scary and nasty as what my teachers were. I was scared of all my teachers as a kid and never learned much.

Ignorance is the cause of many confrontations and misunderstandings.
It is hard to feel good about a person when their intent is to make an example out of you by whatever means they feel necessary to get their point across. Sometimes leaving is the only option.
