My Dad was in Company M, 110th Infantry, 28th Division. I served in the Marine Corps 1961-1967. My Dad survived the War and came home. He died in 1998, at the age of 85. He was awarded several medals, but would lnot accept the Medal of Honor. When he was offered it, he told them, "no, give it to the ones that didn't come home, they deserve it." Great man.

Hello and welcome! Were you or an ancestor really there? If so, thank you and all of the Allied troops for their service in this battle that turned the tide of the war, as they say. Aside from everything else if that hell, it must have been bloody cold! Under whom did you or whomever this is about serve? Tell us more, please, if possible.
