Sea Gypsy, everything that I've read about gnomes tells me that they are very sneaky. They have caused havoc here and my neighbor is saying they've been overturning her pots and that is causing me great distress! I will certainly be glad when they are put to bed for the long winter. I think they may just be tired and need some serious rest.

Mu mom always said they only come out when no one is looking so that's why we can't see them over at my house. They were too sneaky for us but sometimes the elves brought us little presents so we liked them.

I have heard mine whispering too. They have real potty mouths. They seize up and act as if they are statues when I get near the fairy garden. The happy, free-spirited fairies are not fond of the gnomes because they are so cantankerous by nature. You will have to be extra quiet if you want to capture them in order to get them into their box. Good luck!
