Sounds like the same weather we had last year in Florida.

I'm hoping for some snow this upcoming winter. It's good for the car wash business and does look beautiful.

We have had very wet winters here lately and this year may be another one.

Sassy, I'm wondering about Christmas too this year. I hope we can all get together because the family loves Christmas dinner. I was just talking about this with my grandson yesterday. All the kids love sitting around the dinner table having a nice meal. My little Nadine is in charge of decorating the table and she said yesterday that she's going to work on some new ideas. I love it! I always ask the kids what part of Christmas dinner do they love most and just about every one of them says the mashed potatoes. A couple love the piergies most. I try to make memories for all of them for when they are grown.

Sassy, I used to love making snow angels in the deep snow. We would build forts too.

Sassy, ice on the roads is very scary! The 4-wheel drive doesn't do much good if the road is covered in ice.

White Christmases were definite in Oregon. We used to love the snowball fights and building forts. I am no longer a fan of a white Christmas.

A white Christmas is not something that I enjoy. I am not a fan of either. I much prefer warmer weather and very little fuss where presents are concerned. The family meal is the best part of it in my opinion. I can't imagine that there will be much celebrating this year.

White Christmas
When I was little we would almost always have a white Christmas with lots of snow but now we don't get as much snow. There are times when we do get rain though and at that point, I'd rather have snow. It's okay though because when everyone walks through the door they are looking at the tree and all the presents around it. Then there's the fact that the house smells divine with all the food and treats. It's such a fun time for us.

White Christmas is a rarity here. Years ago it was different I remember some Americans enjoying a snow fight the snow was up to the hedges. We had to have chains on the van and one had slipped. I don't think the snow fighters had seen snow before because one young lady said,' is'nt it wonderful.' I was under the van trying to refix the chain. There was just ice on the roads. The old dears often said 'I should go home.' Yes I thought now you have your paraffin cans filled.
