Re:
FSI, it seems to me like the fluctuating temperatures have gotten so much worse over the past year. Is it like that where you live? Sometimes I feel like we are living in Florida. The heat, humidity, and rain make me feel like this. I've lived in the Northeast for most of my life and it never reminded me of Florida until this year. When the alligators show up I'm done! haha

Re: It seems the world is overpopulated - so many areas where masses are
Pat_B, all of your points are good ones. I think it's all about money. There is a company here in Cleveland that is always advertising solar panels. I would love to have them. I'm not sure how expensive they are though.

It seems the world is overpopulated - so many areas where masses are
living in tents or huts, starving and without clean water. Overpopulation has contributed to global warming, along with the burning of fossil fuels. I cannot understand why big oil, big energy, and industries have not invested in massive amounts of wind and solar power so as to wean us off of coal, oil, etc. The denial of scientific proof by the world's political leaders as they comply with their donors, is also a factor. Actions have consequences.

On my next day off, Tuesday, it's going to be in the 60s. The Black Death in the 14th century reduced the world population so much that the temperature cooled. Between then and the 19th century, there was the Little Ice Age. That might have fooled us. Now, maybe COVID-19 global warming will curtail global warming.

Shams-i-Heartsong, thank you so much for the comment. If only the world would make sense.
