Re: Perhaps you could settle them down if you returned one or two bottles
Pat_B, you are awesome! I like to think of the idea that when they zonk out it will be easy to transfer them for their winter hibernation. I think for everyone's sake Zoey should stay in the dark about the gnomes. She's feisty on her best day and on those other days, everyone should lay low.

Perhaps you could settle them down if you returned one or two bottles
from their stash. It's Gnomish behavior to indulge while the opportunity exists, and then when they zonk out at the end of their party, you'll be able to transfer them into their winter habitat with no further trouble. Except of course if Zoey isn't brought into your confidence. I gather she likes to know what's up.

Re:
C_C_T, that is excellent advice! Thank you! My gnomes do have a good heart but lately they are trying my patience. Maybe the Gnome doctor can help them!

Well I would recommend a Gnome Doctor. I have one somewhere. He really can sort out any problems. Mind he is not cheap, but he does do Blogit Gnomes free at times.
My advice is to book early.

Re: Kabu has issues with her naughty gnomes as well.
Sassy, my gnomes are totally out of control! I hope over the long winter they adjust their attitudes. We have been paying a lot of attention to our hummingbirds but that doesn't give them permission to run amok.

Re: I first have to laugh at your post title.
Sassy, I'm pretty sure it's a combination of your gnomes and all the birds, squirrels, and bunnies that visit your yard. Your gnomes have probably tried to proposition them to find hard liquor but they probably didn't figure on the fact that they were going to cause havoc along the way. I don't think gnomes think things through very good.

Kabu has issues with her naughty gnomes as well.
It is in their nature to misbehave and keep us mortals on our toes.

I first have to laugh at your post title.
I suspect mine are heavy drinkers since I keep finding the gnome on the ladder knocked over. He is supposed to be repairing a roof.
Actually, I believe that the birds, squirrels, and bunnies are rifling through my fairy garden and creating chaos.
