Re: Masks

Annicita people get irate here too over the masks.  I would never do such a thing.  If we leave the house we are supposed to be wearing a mask so I always do but it's so hard for me. The pandemic has brought out the worst in some people.

Re: Parsley

Kabu, we did grow some parsley this year but I've snipped and snipped and now there's none left.  Our plants never grow good in the house in the winter.  We have awnings on all the windows and it makes it dark.  Not much light gets in.  We do have a light we turn on for a few little houseplants though. I wish I had a bay window because then I could put some plants there.  My neighbor has one.  I think the next time we go to Walmart I'm going to check and see if they have parsley.  Thank you so much for trying to help.  That is so kind of you.

I just watched a video of a belligerent man in a Walmart yelling at everybody when they had the audacity to tell him to leave if he wasn't going to wear a mask.

parsley will grow well in the garden or on a window sill inside during Winter months. In the Summer it should grow abundantly and you can cut it, hang it in bunches upside down and dry it yourself.

Re: Thank you

C_C_T, I cook large meals almost every day.  We've always tried to save money and feed the family.  From the time I first got married I knew unless I cooked we'd never be able to save money because food has always taken a big dent out of the budget.  I think you would love my homemade sauces.  I use all the vegetables from the garden.  The kids have always said there was nowhere they could go and buy my sauce.

Re: I can honestly say that I have never had Bratwurst.

Sassy, I think you and your family would like Bratwurst.  It's really very good.  We don't eat it often but since I did have some in the freezer it made for an easy lunch.

I can honestly say that I have never had Bratwurst.

I imagine that it would be great with sauerkraut and mustard with a side of some type of potatoes. I am so thankful that I grow my own herbs, but parsley is not one that I grew this year. I buy it fresh sometimes, but our Ollies store carries big bottles of it for .79 cents.
