Re: sassy
Sassy when I was about five years old I was standing on a patch of green grass and I thought. ' wonder why I have this pain in my mind?' I did go back in time to find what I believed to be the reason

Sassy we may even look back at these times and ignore the present but remember the Earth was kind.

Re: Annicita
Sometimes A folk say things which a child does not comprehend . It occasionly becomes twisted as the child grows. You had good parents.

Such an excellent piece with so much thought and creativity.
The future may eventually find no historical meaning if destruction continues on the path that is currently heading towards. As for the banana craving, if not for the yearning of something sweet, you may be lacking in potassium. Hypothetically of course.

We remember those traumatic experiences when we are young.
I have often wondered if it leads to adult PTSD. One never knows the human brain in its entirety.

My father and mainly my mother were the only ones who ever hit me as a form of discipline when small.

Re: RGoldiec
C_C_T, I really do like to be involved and I appreciate the time everyone takes to post their work. I have so many writing friends and for each one of them, I take the time to get to know them and appreciate their work. Sassy recommended this site to me because she said there is such a great group of people here. Being a writer I know better than to count on just the money. Writers are not paid the best but I also have books published and many articles over the years. This is what I absolutely love to do.

Thank you . Some of these were written when I first came on this site in 2009 of course a lot of old members have gone. It is a job to get new members because most just want to show their work, and not be involved. You need not write long comments we get paid by the click onto the blog. Although everyone likes a few little appreciative words. That is the problem of being human.

Re:Pat
Well Pat it took me ages to get back to that time. My Mother told me once she remembered sitting in a bowl being washed on I presume the Kitchen table.

Yes quite so FS sometimes later in life something triggers that old memory and it can be painful.

It is remarkable how far back we can go along our own time-lines, when carefully guided down the path. So many things we don't have access to in conscious memory still affect our choosings and experiencings.

It's funny the things that are burned into our minds from when we were younger. We remember some things so clearly but also lack the context within those same events...It'll be interesting to see how the future looks back on these times.

What will the future think of us? It's good you can remember back. I also do.

I have no memories of anything at the age of two - I think I was nearly
four at the time of the first incidents I remember. Good on your mother for sending the carer off the job.
