Listening is an amazing skill that can results in good or bad things.
Warnings, advice, and wisdom all come from listening to others. I am guilty of tuning people out when they are saying things that I find boring or unimportant to my life. I do find that to be rare though as listening to others can be very rewarding. I learn something new every day, and that comes from paying attention, looking, and listening.
