In my husband's world, yes, it fits in every conversation.
It really depends on who you are talking to, but I live in a sports city that is jokingly called a "drinking town with a football problem."

Sports
I know people that love talking about sports even now when the COVID seems to be present in the field. Then I know people that dislike sports and they'd rather talk about anything other than sports. I'm hoping things turn around and for the people that love sports, they can go back to watch all the games. As of right now the powers that show stick figures sitting in the stands is something I don't like at all. I want to see real people in the stands cheering on their team. I hope I wasn't rambling when I wrote this. haha

Bill, some people are of that opinion. But for pro-athletes, sports is their JOB. Like us going to work. Only they get a lot of money. A lot. That conversation as well needs to happen, perhaps.
