I used to live in St Louis. It was hot and humid from June all the way to sometime in September. I feel your pain.

Getting ready for the storms from the Hurricane...it's coming up the Mississippi and potential for large amounts of rain!

Re:
I'm hoping that soon the heat waves are behind us. Walking in the morning is nice because then it's always a little cooler but this morning the humidity is terrible. I hope you have a good day.

Thanks for the comment. I think it is so hard to write in the heat too. I love rainy days. I really do like Bloggit and al the people I have come in contact with. Everyone is so unique and well-informed. It's like a breath of fresh air.

It has been unusually hot here UK. However following on from a rainy night it feels rather chilly in the morning rain. It is very tiring trying to write in excessive heat .
I hope it has had its fling this year. I hope you like Blogit.

I can walk in the morning to the bus stop, at a park, under 80 at that time. It's mostly in the 80s. New Jersey had the heat wave. It's coming again.

weather is about average up here in Canada but I do have air-con. and heating of course for about 8 months of the year. I don't mind the Canadian Winters, I had enough heat in Australia to last me. Besides, the Gnomes after their drinking parties hibernate for the rerst of the Winter and I get some peace. LOL

Re:
It is all about the humidity! I lived in Arkansas for 5 years and I would definitely classify that as hot as hell or hotter! In the summer it was 110 in the shade! That was just not acceptable to me.

Re: Yes!
Corbin, I totally agree! I would say it's hotter than Hell and we need a cool breeze coming up this way!

The heat really has been unbearable. I'm just not a fan of the heat and at this point I'm looking forward to fall.

It rained yesterday but very little and I'm hoping we get more for the garden. It will be wonderful when it cools off. I'm hoping for an early fall.

We don't have central air either. My allergies say no to that.
By the weekend it is supposed to cool down a bit. We got rain yesterday, and for that I am ever so thankful.

Re:
Corbin, I think you are right but so many people talk about Global warming. I know very little about it and I'm not sure it really exists. Thanks for the comment.

Re: Kentucky
Corbin, I think we are supposed to get some rain this week but the problem with that is it's just hotter after it rains because of the humidity. Our garden does need the rain though so we will take it.
