Kudos to him but I won't take a vaccine that is being rushed through the system.

I could never get myself to volunteer for something like that, but someone has to do it or we would never have vaccines. I very much respect your son and others that make medicines and treatments possible.

The cookies are a steading force to help have a cozy meeting at Mom’s house. No, you can’t tell them anything but volunteering is chancy. Same with my girls. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of a family member. How sad. Enjoy your visit. And the cookies.

Yes it can be upsetting, although folk seem more relaxed here. I expect your son thinks he gives the game a rare chance with a bow. Yes a brave thing to sign up.
I understand how you feel. Well maybe.

And so we get on with life, doing what we feel we can or must, making decisions the best we can... No chocolate chip cookies here, though.

You have a lot going on around you.
Cookies at mom's table works for me. I am on the fence regarding that vaccine. I do not even get a flu shot, but then I have never had the flu. It is sad that people have resorted to terrorizing cities with destruction and threats. Hopefully things will settle down for you. Be safe and God bless.
