I love the thought of children reading from an early age. Taking the children to a library opens up a new world to them.

I agree with you. I did that with my children as well as nieces and nephews. They learned to love reading at early age.

Pat_B, thank you so much for the comment. I've been writing for a long time and I'm so excited to introduce all my characters on my blog. Each character is lovable in their own way. I'm so happy to hear that your great-granddaughters are readers. I am always happy to hear that children love to read.

I have great granddaughters who read, ages almost 9 and almost 6. Based on your intro of Zoey it seems they are the readers you're seeking. Good luck with your writing.

I thank you for the comment and also your question is a good one but I'm afraid my animal characters cannot help with the virus but they can make you smile and that in itself is healing therapy.

It may only be your first post, but it is an amazing piece.
I have only written one children's book, and you know that it was for my granddaughter. You are the expert when it comes to that genre. Your detective pet stories are how children quite possibly see the world.

It is mostly fun here and we write whatever we enjoy and try different writing styles on each other. i think I am going to enjoy reading you for I often write of my fairies in my gardens, and especially about my grumpy old men, the garden Gnome brigade that bring me fun and annoyance. LOL.
