I like to know how many blocks or miles, and then use landmarks to turn right or left. I'm compass-challenged.

Directions
I like to be given directions by landmarks. East, West, North, and South can be confusing for me. When I read this post it made me smile and think of how bad I really am at giving or taking directions.
