He is a great actor. I remember how vocal he was when there was the push to pass the ERA before the deadline. I also remember his role in The Mephisto Waltz - very different than his role on MASH.

How funny. I believe that we all talk to ourselves.
I was told that the problem starts when it becomes a full blown conversation. As for Alan Alda, that sounds like a really interesting book.
