This was truly a tragedy for the families that lost loved ones.  Thankfully some good did come from the events of that day.

Those mining accidents happened so often. It was horrible.

We've got plenty of deaths in coal mines down here in KY.  Is dropping off because we do most mining as strip mining so there's no cave-ins!
