i gave up coffee back when I had the flu. My BP went high enough for me to have a stroke so I just stopped all Caffeine. I just drink water or an occasional orange juice with no added sugar. Life has become really bland.

I’ve done the no coffee thingievand it is no fun. I only have about a cup or so a day and even that was not fun to give up. Hope you feel better without it though.

Well I only drink decaf , but tea is straight . I think one has to find what suits one's system by trial and error. Good luck.

Oh yeah, coffee is not my friend when it comes to IBS.
We have the old, tradiional coffee pot, but our daughters all have those Kuerig machines. He drinks coffee by the gallon without incident. I swear that his old Italian gut is made out of iron. My hubby refers to my IBS as, "I Be Shitting." I only drink it when I need the help. Other than that, I drink a V-8 spinach smoothie in the morning. Now I have learned that I cannot tolerate a cheese overload. Getting older and these various health issues are a real bitch.
