I have certainly had those times. I have known exactly how a situation was going to turn out and who would say what and what I would reply with. A sort of out of my skin experience. Funny thing, the older i get, the less this happens.

The old Soul we say only in relative terms. It is formless. Never born, never dead. And all of us are that, old souls. I am glad that I could give only a 'logical' answer to your question. If only we could experience it like taste. Taste can not be described in a thousand words. But once one has tasted, then no explanation is required, because then one knows from 'experience'. The Sufis I have great respect for. They say it absolutely correctly 'die before you die'. Meaning, realize the Soul in is as-it- ness while you still have your body. And, this realization will stop the cycle of births. Thanks, Shams- i.

What an enlightening post; one which has the ability to provoke deep thought. There has been no answer to my knowledge as to exactly where our consciousness goes when we pass on.
