My family believed in a never-ending work ethic also. It's a good idea and it all depends on what it is one is doing.

I seem to be falling down on my job lately. Time i took this advice and got up and involved in something...the garden needs me i know.

Keeping the hands and head busy is great, but it is also a real thing that when mothers were surveyed a few years ago, by far the thing most of them had at the top of their wish-list was 'time to myself.'

I too understand those words. It is sage advice.

My aunt Edith worked with the "elderly" as she referred to them when she herself was 94, although she looked more like sixty. She informed us that once you took to the rocking chair that you might as well be dead. She believed that a long life depended on staying busy. I could not agree more.
