So easily we accepted the norm. Thank you for this Pat. All our little worries  should seem trivial compared to the present one. Someone told me that the recreation ground was packed with folk . I suppose they would have gone abroad in the usual pattern. Sorry.

I do hope people who think this is a joke and conspiracy finally start to take this seriously and wear masks. I am so tired of people ranting about their right to not have to wear one.

I do pray that I live to see normality return and people smiling. I go out so little i need very few clothes have bought nothing this year and not even worn what I bought last year in the sales. go nowhere see virtually no one. Life is at times, too quiet.

Re: And yes, there is comfort in patterns. You nailed it.

It's been a while since I wrote this novel, so I went back to read Chapter 17. Let me just say that it happened then just as I wrote it - the bullies, the scenario, the insecure situation. I don't know how my mother did it. (And today would be her 114th birthday.)

And yes, there is comfort in patterns. You nailed it.

Speaking of patterns, I just started chapter 17, Pass-Fail of your Bloody Hell And A Slice Of Pie Book. I love your writing. My hubby is on the, "If At First You Don't Succeed Chapter.

We have surely broke the pattern and that in itself is epic.

Nothing will ever be as it once was.

As always, your writing keeps me totally engaged.

I agree with you that one big issue is as humans we desire touch, and that has been eliminated this year. I would dearly love to give my mom a hug. Thankfully, my kids live nearby. My brother just posted on FB that the Surgeon General recommends practicing the 3 Ws (wear a mask, watch your distance and wash your hands!) They were touring the COVID field hospital with USPHS CRAFT team along with a COVID recovery center at the the Lord Baltimore Hotel. All we can do for now is be safe and hang in there until this passes...if it ever does.
