The "Death of Plants" reminds me of my own meager harvest.

This summer has been unusually hot and I have been fortunate enough to receive only a handful of good, hearty tomatoes. It could be worse, I could have none.

Thanks

To be honest, we don't feel that way now, we live in a different world. Soon we will be growing food under lights in containers, so it's hard to get emotional about it all. But I was wondering what the first humans felt. They didn't have the TV to take their minds off things.

Hmmm - I spent most of my younger days harvesting on the farm, and can't remember feeling that way, even with the imagination I had at the time. Trees were something else though. I always silently apologized to a tree when we would cut one down.

I watched Wicker Man. It indeed was an interesting movie.

There's a lot of versions of this Horror favorite....most are very good, one or two basically suck!
