I think it was brilliant to choose him and the rest of the cast. I also think the writing was superb.

For the most part I believe that it does.
Especially when the actor is also known for playing serious parts as well. Sandra Bullock pulls this off well.

He was great in Casablanca..I also like the Invisible Man, and The Adventures of Robin Hood...the movies back then were superb!
