I wonder if the person who took the picture offered his/her seat to the person or if that person was also standing? Once I offered my seat while waiting in a restaurant for a table to an elderly person who needed to walk with a cane and the person refused! But this is different. Maybe it’s doctored...

I grew up during a time when you offered your seat to your elders. There was no anger in doing this, just simple respect.
