An enjoyable read.

I can relate to failing senses.Feeling awkward in a young world is something that we all go through during the seasons of our lives.

Re: Sea

If we were to list good poets there would be so many of them in the 17th and 18th centuries and their discussion too, and the style fascinate us still to this day. Thank you dear Sis.

Re: C C T

i fully agree that the poets of the yore were probably more sensitive and natural and that is why they could convey difficult ideas in imagery. They were nature lovers.

Re: Kabu

Oh, you were at the heart of Athens, Byzantine! Glad you did not trip while lighting candles. I hope you're keeping well. How's our Sir Wiley? I love it whenever you visit. I'm unable to read much because there is quite a load for the new Semester.

The times were different then, but not the hearts and souls of humankind. Yeats remains a constant in a world gone fuid because of his artist gifts and how he used them. Such is the fate of each of us, to seek a higher level as time goes on. thank you for a lovely post.

Such poets were devoted to the images they created . Not any easy task..

I did read your work but I had to stop for awhile and think of my most favorite place of worship in the entire World, the parts that I have seen. A very ancient tiny little Byzantine Church in the heart of Athens greece. It is on the side walk of a busy street and one has to walk around it onto the busy traffic to pass it. it is so old it is sunk down into the ground by at least a foor. I always annoyed my companion by slipping into it, buying and lighting a candle to place with others and to say a quick prayer.
