what a lovely trip to take. I think it must go onto my bucket list, if i am ever able to get back into the USA...well I can get in I just cannot get back to Canada.

That sounds like a train ride that would be a lot of fun to take.
I cannot say I find the temperature taking to be reassuring. With the asymptomatic nature of most cases, a temeprature check is not going to yield anything conclusive.
