Yes, each door or threshold you cross takes you to new places,experiences, lessons & sometimes fun/ adventure.You have a rich & varied collection of all that to enjoy & share.

Wish you had taken that photo.I can't say why but beautiful doors fascinate me....they are like a face of a place :)
In olden days in India (elsewhere too) doors, gates or passages were done very artistically with paint or wood/ metal carving & were elaborate so during my travels I had taken photograps of a number of them which I shared on my Facebook page & also here. If only they could tell what all they had witnessed, the stories would be interesting.....❣️⛩️

I love your pictures of doors on your Facebook site. It reminded me of our family home when sons were young. Our door was made of divided glass panels and I loved it. But once when no one was home someone broke a panel and got in and robbed us of a lot of things that were only important to us. We had that door replaced by a solid door with a tiny face window at the top. I always wished I had a photo of the original door that I loved.

I have always opened those doors and walked through. sometimes things worked better than others but i have had a really adventurous life and been there and done so much.
