A lovely philosophical poem. The best that one can give oneself,convinced that death is an absence and life, a presence.

Thanks you all for your feedback & comments.The poem does talk about the uncertainty or even the surprise element of existence and if we truly understand it our attitude and outlook would radically transform. But mostly we are under the influence of this make -belief world...an illusion and allure keeps us in its grip.Living your life to the fullest is certainly the best day to day course.

Symbolically, there's a pretty snapdragon. Its growing in a crack between the bricks, of the balcony, on the side of the house. It shows determination to live its life.

Death is always a shadow since we have no clue of our expiration date.
I try to live to the fullest each day despite that fact.
