Griffey was an incredible talent. Sadly, injuries derailed the second half of his career.

I live up the road from Donora. Griffey is remembered more by the younger crowd, but Musial is a legend who put Donora on the map, and he is still loved around these parts due to what he brought to the community as far as fame goes.. His house where he grew up on Marelda Avenue is still standing. The home of champions sign is still hanginging near the bridge.

Musial moved to St. Louis and played for the Cardinals. He open his own restaurant near the then Checkerdome and St. Louis Community College at Forest Park.
