The proverbial crap has hit the fan about so many issues. Behind the scenes that egomaniac is eliminating or diluting so many programs in place for the environment, human rights etc. It's a sad day indeed when people are cheering for all the atrocities that are occurring.

You are correct. This entire scene of events is making everyone go to lengths of patience that causes us to behave in ways that are outside of our norms, regardless of what side of the aisle one sits in this country. There are tensions and most of us are at the point where we only seek health and peace.

Re: Kabu
I believe it's Trump's fascination with strong men - his niece Mary's book paints him as the child of an abusive, narcissistic father who treated him badly but was his role model - Putin is his surrogate "daddy."

I cannot vote in your elections but my heart is so deeply involved with the plight of my very dear American friends. It appears to me to be a Putin started plot to ruin the USA from the inside. What holds he has over Your man in the white house i have no idea although a lot must be financial.

We follow the news as well and I completely agree with you.
I find it quite coincidental that the rise of the COVID and the areas of protests are peak spots. Hanging out in large groups, many without masks is not helping this situation by any stretch of the imagination. Hand washing, staying at home, wearing a mask, and using common sense is the only things that are going to help decrease the numbers of those affected.
