I believe that everyone needs the dignity of enough of the stuff to live with dignity. If you waste it then too bad but a chance, well that is what we all need.

Money may be the root of all evil, but I will take my chances.
I am no fan of debt. We have managed to pay all of our credit cards off and we have no car payments. Our checks are ours with the exception of normal living expenses, and yes, it feels great.

Yes it is better to be free of debt. The trouble is we rarely have enough money when we are young.
