I don't mind using a mower but I find I get puffed out too quick after being sick for so long. I pay the boy next door.

There was always someone to do it when I was a kid. Now, there’s a guy hired to mow.

I've only driven it into my pond one time... and in the 7 years, I've had to replace the motor once after driving into the pond! ($789)

Re: Get to it!
That is quite a bit to mow and a nice mower to complete such a chore.

I love mowing the lawn... There's a total of 5 acres with two houses. I have a $5k BadBoy mower. Put on some earphones, start up an Audible book on my phone wearing my headsets and I'm in a wonderful world. It takes a couple of hours!

You are missing out. I love mowing the lawn.
It is not only great exercise, it give's me a chance to see the wildlife that has made my yard their home. I never got to mow when I was a kid and I actually wanted to, but I was always given the weeding duty. I just bought my hubby a new mower for Father's Day, but I think that I may have secretly bought it for myself since I am the one who uses it.
