Yeppers. I have lived in seven states. Each are very unique. I personally have one of the strangest accents and dialect from living in too many states, but the most unique so far for me has been Pennsylvania. Delaware and Virginia are pretty unique as well.

Every state has its own dialect. There is also a speed to the patter. I went to school in Springfield, Missouri for 4 years. Life there was slower paced. My father would make comments about how slowed I talked and couldn't wait until I graduated.

Interesting I suppose in the past when travel was practically non existent folk spoke with their own recognized manner. Some of which has been carried into the present.
