That's the last thing one wants to deal with immediately after a hospitalization...hope & pray it's resolved soon and the insurance company pays. When there is lots going on...more than what you can deal with & you don't see His footprints behind, it's because He is walking with you by your side.Amen!!

Just talked to my sis. She is overwhelmed with boxes of "stuff" right now. But it will all go away soon.

Others have given better advice here than I can... but I'm sure everything will work out.

TAPS - I'm sorry to hear you have all of those things going on.

I actually had that happen with the hospital billing. It was a horrendous shock to see pages and pages of bills totaling many, many thousands of dollars for a surgery and hospital stay. In the end, it was all settled. Just a bad nightmare of a hassle. Hang in there.

As for your driver's license, my friend just told me today that she went to DMV and got her license renewed and walked out! No TEST! How great is that? Maybe your state is doing likewise. I don't know about the vision test though. As for the other "stuff," there's a lot for you on the plate right now, but little by little, you will get to it. So sorry  you are going through all of this.

I would send the letter to the medical provider to see if they will correct the coding. I would file that appeal asap. If they still refuse to pay, contact the insurance commissioner's office in your state.

TAPS - here we have organizations composed of accountants, lawyers, etc who work pro bono for senior citizens and would handle something like that. Maybe you have the same in your area? What a nightmare trying to get the hospital billing to coordinate with the insurance company!!!
