Re: Corbin
Supermarkets sell most things. The same companies have smaller shops at garages and Estates Yes the milk is quite cheap.. I pay 140 p for a pint of goat's milk or special milk but one could buy pints much cheaper if one took the normal millk.

Re:Kabu
Yes obviously you would not want to visit if you had the virus. It does not seem long but I suppose it is the way things are. My cousin's wife is in care and he is not allowed to visit .

Re sassy
I think you maybe right we shall remember this for a long time. Never has the world been so vulnerable to this menace. I suppose in the past an outbreak
t would not have passed so quickly around the globe

Re: Sea Gypsy
I know one gets aches and pains and wonders, although there were 70% cars back on the roads here today. Thank you. Take care.

Hope you and Archie are feeling better.Take care.
The lockdown has been relaxed here...shops, malls and essential services have opened up though people still avoid going out unless absolutely necessary as cases are increasing and the fear of infection looms large still..
The poem creates such real images.... very nice.

Cases on the rise here. It’s a bit irritating. I hope Archie is alright, and you also. Your poem did flow nicely and was good reading.

Your poem said the same thing to me as it did to Pat_B; it's a nod of the head and a yep, we'll get things done sort of feel. Slackiing here too for lockdown, but my doc told me to stay home.

Our area has slowed down. Masks have become optional.
Many restaurants are still pick up and drive-through, but aour stores have opened. It is going to take time and plenty of effort to restore this world although it will never be the same.

know how to fix things and be creative in the face of trouble...

I know this sounds dumb but do you have the large supermarkets with everything there? And the milk is cheaper? Someone's got an old shopping habit!
