Awww!  As bad as those fires were, I surprised there were any koalas left.

Re: Yes...that is where they call home.

Koalas natural habitat are located in the eucalyptus forests of eastern Australia.

Yes, the koala population is quite large and thankfully so. Humans are really good at doing stupid shit that result's in extinction with some animals.

I'm wrong on one thing..they are primarily found in Eastern Australia.

You mean in captivity?  I would think there's a lot of Koalas and it's a very big country?
