I've had what I thought were those removed but they turned out to be something else. Not too bad but still, not a picnic. Hope you don't have to go through that again.

Sounds pretty dire I can only boast an ingrowing toe nail the chiropodist has been. banging about at it for four years. As she says as she digs her clippers down the
side of my toe, she could not have done it if I had not been able to stand the pain.

Ooooh they hurt. I haven't had one but know others that have and yes you suffered that year until it was gone.

I'll never forget having one when I was in high school. It surely did hamper having fun and being active. I finally had it removed by electric needle which was definitely not fun either.

Oh geez, they are the worst. My brother used to get them on his feet.
I had one on my finger years ago. I am happy to say that I haven't had one since I was in my twenties.
