I rememberr readin a thick book a long time ago, fiction but full of Aztec history. I enjoyed visiting the Aztec village not far from Riviera Maya. In spite of their cruetly, they were an advanced culture in many other aspects.

That reminds me, when I try to cook with hot chili peppers (because I like the taste) it always makes me so I can't breathe and horrible coughing. As long as they are not hot or pickled I don't have trouble but I don't dare try to saute them.
